REFLECTION

     my journey

Here I am again, writing my journey. 3rd grading again has passed. And I had a great time this grading. Even though I am not always present in our class in I.C.T. because of the contests I've participated, I still understand those some things that my teacher taught. But ‘til now I have problems during this grading.
I have problems in posting my drafts because I don’t have the first draft in my flash drive (USB) and that draft was save to my classmate’s flash drive. I really don’t know what to do. So until now I am rushing. And this is the last draft I’m going to post. I hope this is the last time that I’ll be rushing my blogs.
So now, I’m going to be ready all the time so that I will never have any problems again in my study. Because rushing makes you really feel haggard. L L L

New Year New Me

be a better one..
2014 has ends. 2014 was full of happiness but there are also which cause me pain, made me felt angry and felt depression. And now 2015 has come, a new year for us to explore, a long journey again to take. I know most of us make our New Year’s Resolution. So why don’t you share it? Are you going to change your lifestyles? Are you going to have your new you?
For last year’s words belong to last year’s language. And next year’s words await another voice. And to make an end is to MAKE a BEGINNING- - T.S. Ellot. Now, my new year’s resolution is to have a new beginning and change myself a better one. Because I know in myself that I’m not really a perfect person, I’ve made a lot of mistakes before. I want to change my bad attitudes that I’ve used to be. I want to think 100 times first before I make any decisions because sometimes my anger overcomes me that made people hates me. And I will lowered my voice also because most of the people around me, especially those who don’t really know me are getting annoyed and irritated. I know that it’s hard to change ourselves to be better. But I will really change myself. And I want to prove to all of you that I can, that I can be a better one that will make you adore me.
Make yourselves an asset. Have a new beginning. To this day, I will make myself be better than you ever had been expected. May this year be a fresh start and a beautiful new beginning. HAPPY NEW YEAR J

ESSENCE OF CHRISTMAS

christmas…

When you hear the word Christmas, the first things would come out to your mind would be exchanging gifts, non-stop parties and mouthwatering lushes. But all of these things are not really the essence of Christmas. So what is really the essence of Christmas?
As the days passes by, Christmas is also getting nearer. I can feel Christmas as I walked out and see those beautiful lights outside the houses and those big Christmas trees around the city. Students are also excited for their Christmas programs/ parties in school as well for more/ less two weeks’ vacation. You can also see children and old ages along the highway walking and going to every house to have their carols. Fireworks are also there. People also are used to have their “Noche Buena” when it’s already twelve on the “Bisperas ng Pasko” But let us not forget why there is Christmas. December 25, Christmas, is the day when Jesus Christ was born. And the essence of Christmas for me is giving and sharing your blessings w/o expecting any replacement. And Christmas is not just for those who are rich. Christmas is for everyone. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have any money for “Noche Buena”, as long as you are w/ your family and having Jesus w/ your hearts.

Christmas is something that we must really celebrate. But let us all remember what really the essence of it. And let us thank God for all the blessings that he is giving to us. And let us thank God for sending Jesus Christ here in earth to save us from our sins. We must all treasure it.

climate change

CLIMATE CHANGE
During our younger years, we always hears from our teachers about how to manage proper waste segregation of waste materials, plant more trees, burning garbage’s to maintain cleanliness of our environment and others. But those things which our teachers kept on teaching us, we as a young students doesn’t or never tend to learn how to do it properly because we do not give any concerns to it. What does these wrong doing of us may affect in our environment and community? What will happen if we keep on not giving attentions/ concerns to our environment?
Cutting trees, there, here, everywhere. Burning plants and plastics, smoking, scattering garbage’s, making illegal fishing by using dynamites, building inventions like industrial plants. These are the things we, humans usually do and because of our wrong acts, we didn’t notice that our environment suffers. These affect not only humans but also most of the living creatures and of course “Mother Earth”. And because of the environmental abuse and serious forms of pollution, Climates have changed and there is what we call “CLIMATE CHANGE”. Climate change that may have resulted as part of Earth’s natural processes and the differentiation of these two causes, HUMAN IMPACT vs. NATURAL RESOURCE. But in the other side, we, humans can still have the control to save and help our ‘Mother Earth from be totally damaged by reducing the use of resource and energy through decreasing demand and increasing efficiency. 3’R (Reuse-Reduce-Recycle) is one of the most effective method or way to make our resources be conserved. These things are just simple and I know it is more reliable and more efficient in our way of living.
We must learned how learn to all calamities our country had face and learn how to help each other to help and save our ‘Mother Earth’ from getting damaged. Our Environment’s sake is in our hands.

English Theme

“Outpouring Hearts and Minds through Literacy and English Proficiency”

Nowadays, when people hear you speaking in English, they think that you are smart, you are educated. It just means that this language helps you a lot in your everyday living. For us to become proficient to this language, we must put our hearts and minds to learn it.
We all know that English is our International language that is use in many aspects of life. One of these is when you are applying for jobs. In order for you to be accepted in what jobs you desire. Speaking in English doesn't mean at all. You used to get your word inside your heart for you to express your thoughts that come from your mind. You’re proficient if you spoke “English” w/ hearts and minds. In terms of Literacy, it is about expressing your thoughts and telling what you want. But, it doesn't just like that; rather letting our hearts speak what we meant.
Your English Proficiency defines who you are in terms of Literature. But in using as our language, we must still include and not set aside our hearts and minds because it is where our thoughts came from us to be able to express ourselves.

Equal Rights and Opportunity

What are we hunger for? These are Equal Rights and Opportunity. For you to know, Equal rights may refer to: Equality before the law, when all people have the same rights, Human rights, when such rights are held in common by all people, Civil rights, when such rights are held in common by all citizens of a nation Women's rights, when such rights are held in common by both men and women, Men's rights movement, when rights are desired to be equal between the sexes, Equal Rights Amendment, a proposed amendment to the U.S. Constitution that intended to advance such a condition for women's rights, Equal liberty and Equal opportunity is a stipulation that all people should be treated similarly, unhampered by artificial barriers or prejudices or preferences, except when particular distinctions can be explicitly justified.
We are all born equal. We are all given each opportunity in this nation. And we must treat others as we treat ourselves. We are not all perfect but each of us has own uniqueness. To this day, people are abusing women, discriminate gays and lesbians, and also those getting old people who are applying for jobs. And government must take a look of it and make actions to prevent those things. So there is the act which we call Equal Opportunity Is the Law under the Workforce Investment Act that is against the law for any recipient of Federal financial assistance from the U.S. Department of Labor under Title I of the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) to discriminate on the following bases: Against any individual in the United States, on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, political affiliation of belief; and Against any beneficiary of programs on the basis of the beneficiary's citizenship/ status as a lawfully admitted immigrant authorized to work in the United States, or his or her participation in any WIA Title I financially assisted program or activity. The recipient must not discriminate in any of the following areas: Deciding who will be admitted, or have access, to any WIA Title I financially assisted program or activity; Providing opportunities in, or treating any person with regard to, such a program or activity; or Making employment decisions in the administration of, or in connection with, such a program or activity.
So let us not set aside those things. We have our rights to fight for our Rights. We are all humans and we are all equal. Let us give chances to others and give them opportunities in our country. And let us all remember that each of us are unique.
